Hello everyone!
Big news for the Lakeshore Radio Association! We’re moving away from Groups.io and onto a brand-new, shiny Discord server! 🎉
Discord will give us a modern place to communicate, share information, discuss amateur radio, and stay connected with fellow LRA members.
How to Join
Click the invitation link below to get started. It will take you to our Welcome page.
Please take a moment to read through the welcome information and review the server rules. Once you have read and accepted the rules, click the ✅ reaction to indicate that you agree.
After you accept the rules, you’ll be granted access to the rest of the server, where you’ll be able to see and participate in all of the available topics and channels.
Please Set Up Your Nickname
When you join, please make sure your Discord nickname follows the same format we’re using throughout the server:
CALL | Name
For example:
AF9Q | Matt
Using this format will make it much easier for everyone to recognize who they’re talking with.
We hope Discord will give LRA a better way to stay connected and make it easier for members to participate in conversations, share projects, ask questions, and keep up with what’s happening around the club.
Welcome to the new LRA Discord server — we’ll see you there!
